We want to be a destination instead of a casual encounter. Our homes tell the story of our past, our experiences, and what values are most important to us. We want to help our customers find home decor that invites joy and turns an ordinary house into a home.
Our Inspiration
Our name directly reflects our style; we are inspired by the rustic yet elegant villas of the French countryside and the clean and down-to-earth feel of American farmhouse style. Truly the best of both worlds, French Farmhouse style beautifully melds elegance with practicality.
About the Owner
Hi I'm Ashley, the lady behind The French Farmhouse and Rendezvous Studio & Events. If you would have told me 5 years ago that I would open a retail store and event space I wouldn't have believed you. But here I am! God led me on this path and I’m sure glad he did.
A little about me. I absolutely LOVE being a mom to my two beautiful babies (not so much anymore, but I can pretend). I've always focused on giving them all of my love + more, and part of that is creating a home that gives them those warm, loving feelings. That along with my God given passion for interior decorating and design, led me on this journey.
In search of home decor with a french/modern farmhouse flair, I noticed a void in the Roanoke market. I knew I could build something for my family and community, by following my passion and creating my own farmhouse home market and event space. Some days I still can't believe I actually turned these crazy ideas in my head into reality. I feel so fortunate that you all have embraced us and I've been overwhelmed with all of the support shown from our local community. So thank you all! I can't wait to take this journey with you, and I hope this business brings you just as much joy as it brings me.
